MLK families were greeted to a night of reading, books, readers theater, food and fun Thursday, March 12th. The kindergarten students performed reader's theater versions of familiar stories. These were coordinated by Ms. Watkins. Families members in attendance learned helpful reading tips from Curriculum Specialist, Veronica Russell. Students were treated to time with their teachers to experience engaging reading games. Mrs. Barbee had the book fair buzzing with many spring titles and reading goodies. Thanks to those who were able to attend this fun evening and make it successful!
