I graduated from Austin Peay State University in 1998.  I later obtatined a Master's Degree in the area of Reading and Integrating Technology.

I am a lifelong resident of Christian County.  I have two sons, Hudson and Drew.  Hudson is a junior at Murray State University and Drew is a senior at Hopkinsville High School. This is my 22nd year of teaching. I have taught various grade-levels and subject areas, and I value the experience I have gained from each and every one. It is my passion to help struggling readers. It is so rewarding to see a child motivated to learn and gaining confidence.
