In 1998, I graduated from Caldwell County High School.  In 2007, I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree from Murray State University.  I earned my Master's Degree from Liberty University. 

I have been a teacher for ten years.  I have taught 3rd, 4th, 5th grades at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School.  This year I am excited to begin a new journey as a Reading and Math Interventionist. 

 My name is Mrs. Merrick.  I am a Reading and Math Interventionist at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School. I have been teaching for eleven years.   I have three children - Madyson (17 years old), Haydon (10 years old), and Brilyn (7 years old).  I am married to a Hopkinsville Police Officer, Tim.  We have a big dog named Woodstock.  I enjoy boating, camping, reading, and I love being a teacher.
