I am a product of Christian County Public Schools.  I attended kindergarten at First Baptist Church then moved onto Millbrooke Elementary School.  I learned so much at Attucks and Christian County Middle School.  I graduated from Christian County High School.  I attended Hopkinsville Community College in the summers and graduated from Georgetown College with a degree in Elementary Education.  I completed my graduate work at Murray State University.

My name is Melissa Adams. 

I am so proud to work at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School with super students, terrific teachers, and fantastic families.  I have been working in Christian County Schools for 26 years. 

I love people and I love to learn! 

I think that learning can be and should be fun and meaningful.

Learning is something that we should never stop doing.
